CS Energy is inviting community groups and not‑for‑profit organisations in the Western Downs and Banana Shire regions to apply for funding through Round 18 of its Community Sponsorships Program.
Since 2018, the Program has contributed over $1.5 million to community‑led initiatives, with funding typically ranging from $1,000 to $20,000. These contributions have helped local groups in the communities surrounding Kogan Creek Power Station and Callide Power Station to improve facilities, run events, support people of all ages, celebrate culture, and keep communities active and connected.
Funding is available for initiatives that align with CS Energy’s focus areas:
- Safety and environment
- Social and community development
- Education
- Culture and art
- Active and healthy communities
- Indigenous initiatives
Round 18 will open for applications from 9am Monday 16 February to 5pm Monday 16 March.
