Kogan Creek power station
Kogan Creek Power Station is located near Chinchilla on Queensland's western Darling Downs, approximately 260km west of Brisbane.
Chinchilla is a supportive and tight-knit community. Football, netball, cricket and polocrosse are all popular sports in the region and there is a range of community facilities and services. Chinchilla is known as the Melon Capital, which it celebrates with the biennial Melon Festival.
