CS Energy invests $70,000 into community projects

Eleven organisations in the Western Downs and Banana Shire regions are sharing $70,000 in sponsorship funding through Round 16 of CS Energy’s Community Sponsorships Program. 

Recipients in the Western Downs near our Kogan Creek Power Station are:

  • Wandoan and District Kindergarten Association Inc for the Wandoan Camel Races
  • Dalby Welcoming Community Inc for the Dalby Delicious and DeLIGHTful Festival
  • Chinchilla Family Support Centre Inc for the Chinchilla NAIDOC Fishing Competition
  • Queensland Police-Citizens Youth Welfare Association Empowering Survivors of Domestic Violence RUBY program.

CS Energy is additionally providing sponsorship towards the 2025 Chinchilla One Long Table event, commencing 6 September.

Recipients in the Banana Shire near our Callide Power Station are:

  • Jambin State School for a classroom technology upgrade
  • Zonta eClub for the sponsorship of the Women in STEM forum and awards
  • St Vincent de Paul Society QLD for the refrigeration for the food pantry
  • Biloela State School to support the NAIDOC rotations day
  • Rotary Club of Biloela to support the Christmas Festival
  • Banana Shire Emergency Accommodation and Support Centre (BSSC) to assist with transport services
  • Taroom Early Learning Centre for the restumping and childproofing of the eastern side of the kindergarten building.
