Twelve organisations in the Western Downs and Banana Shire regions are sharing $100,000 in sponsorship funding through Round 15 of CS Energy’s Community Sponsorships Program.
“More than half of CS Energy’s workforce lives and works in the regions around our Kogan Creek and Callide power stations, and we’re committed to investing in these regions to help build vibrant, liveable communities,” said CS Energy’s Acting CEO Emma Roberts.
“Over the last year, we’ve expanded our Community Sponsorship Program from two rounds to three, and invested around $300,000 into projects, events, and initiatives in the Banana Shire and Western Downs.”
Sponsorships typically range between $1,000 and $20,000 and are awarded to projects that will have a lasting, positive impact on the community.
The Banana Shire and the Western Downs areas received sponsorships totalling $50,000 each in this round.
