Plans are progressing to carry out a major overhaul of Unit C4 at the jointly owned Callide C Power Station from 10 April to 26 June 2026.
Major overhauls can be compared to regular servicing of your car and are typically carried out every three to four years. Overhauls include a range of statutory inspections and maintenance to support the reliable and efficient operation of a generating unit.
While the Unit C4 overhaul is being carried out, its sister unit C3 will be removed from service for 17 days in May for electrical maintenance that requires both units offline simultaneously, including replacement of components and switchboard maintenance.
