CS Energy has continued its commitment to community wellbeing by providing $7,500 in funding to support the RUBY (Rise Up, Be Yourself) program in Chinchilla - an initiative run by PCYC Queensland that empowers women who have experienced domestic violence.

The RUBY program combines physical activity and connection to help participants rebuild confidence, boost self-esteem, and improve overall wellbeing. Delivered by a qualified fitness professional and a Queensland Police Service officer, the program offers a safe and supportive space for women to heal and grow.

CS Energy’s support, through Round 16 of its Community Sponsorships Program, will help cover personal trainer costs, venue hire, fitness equipment, infrastructure, and meals, ensuring the program remains accessible and impactful.

“When we hear the word ‘safety’ in our industry, we often think of hardhats, warning signs, and workplace protocols - but safety isn’t confined to the workplace; it belongs in every part of our lives,” said Bec Kelly, CS Energy's Head of Corporate Affairs.

“For us, supporting RUBY is about creating a safer community, and standing beside women as they reclaim their strength.

“We’re proud to help create a space where wellbeing and safety go hand in hand.”

PCYC Queensland Regional Manager – Youth and Community Programs Rob Workman welcomed the support, saying, “These allocations ensure our program is well-resourced, sustainable and engaging for our participants. We know the impact that RUBY has, and we’re so pleased that CS Energy sees its value too.”

CS Energy’s support for PCYC Queensland extends beyond RUBY, with ongoing contributions to PCYC Dalby since 2021 including funding for a boxing bag frame, room upgrades, and electronic enhancements.
