An update for our retail customers

CS Energy is responding to a cyber security incident that occurred on our ICT network on Saturday 27 November 2021.

The incident occurred on CS Energy’s corporate network and has not impacted safety or operations at our power stations. We continue to generate and dispatch electricity into the National Electricity Market.

We want to assure you that there is no impact to your retail electricity supply as a result.

We plan to invoice you as usual but will update you if we foresee any bill issues.

We take this issue very seriously. Upon becoming aware of the incident, we took immediate preventative action to contain the corporate network and maintain security to our other networks.

We will continue to keep you updated, and your account manager will be in contact with you in the coming days.
