Rebecca Mayer moved from Hobart to Brisbane in 2020 to join our Retail team, who provide customised energy solutions for large organisations.
What interested you about joining CS Energy’s retail team?
From the moment I read the Retail Operations Officer job advertisement it resonated with me. I am extremely passionate about providing exceptional customer service, and CS Energy’s purpose ‘Delivering energy today, powering your tomorrow’ and values put my mind at ease about moving interstate for the role.
Describe a typical work day for you at CS Energy.
A typical workday involves answering customer enquiries via phone or email, and following up with meter data providers to obtain meter data or have metering updated in the market. I also process electrical works requests for new connections, alterations, and unmetered supply – streetlights.
A lot of preparation goes into invoicing our customers each month. Once a billing cycle ends we have already started the process again for the next month.

CS Energy customers value the high level of personalised customer service we provide. We pride ourselves in actioning all customer enquiries in a prompt and professional manner. Our customers appreciate when they call through to CS Energy that they are dealing with the same Retail team throughout the whole process.

If you find a career that you’re passionate about and you love what you do it will never feel like work.
