At CS Energy, we aim to create a culture of responsibility. In 2006 we introduced the Safe Move program to refresh our safety awareness, compliance and performance. Safe Move uses the most basic principle of safety - to think before acting.

"Is what I'm about to do a safe move?"
Central to the Safe Move program is 'SMOOV', the Safe Move character. SMOOV is gender neutral and always appears in safety helmet, boots and glasses. Safety is everyone's responsibility. Safe Move applies to everything we do, including the condition of our work areas and the site environment. We encourage staff to challenge unsafe work practices if they see them on site and all staff have the right to ask that work be stopped if they consider it unsafe.

Safe Move compliance:
All CS Energy staff and visitors to our sites must comply with our safety rules. If you are
visiting a CS Energy site, these rules will be presented to you when you complete a site induction. Contractors working at CS Energy sites should also be familiar with the specific
safety procedures relating to their area of work.
