CS Energy has released its Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Review for 2008/09, the first for the Company.  The report covers people, environment, safety, community and corporate governance activities.  Read more.

Our staff are digging deep for charity through our Workplace Giving program Generosity. We match their donations dollar for dollar and together we have provided more than $145,000 to charity in the first year of the program’s operation.

CS Energy generated 17,794 gigawatt hours of electricity in 2008/09 and returned a net profit of $93.8 million.  We also commenced site works for the Callide Oxyfuel Project, continued a mid-life refit of Callide B Power Station and launched a staff Workplace Giving program. Read more

A staff idea for cutting red tape and improving electrical safety was the inaugural winner in CS Energy’s Chairman’s Safe Move Awards. Callide Power Station Operator Dennis Cleary developed an innovative device for isolating 415kv circuit breakers.
