Warwick Solar Farm
CS Energy has signed an offtake agreement to purchase a proportion of the renewable energy produced at the University of Queensland’s 64 megawatt Warwick Solar Farm.
UQ uses energy generated by the project to offset its own energy needs and sells the surplus energy into the market – a portion of which will now be supplied to CS Energy.
CS Energy is passing the benefit of this renewable energy from the solar farm on to our Queensland Government customers, as part of our energy supply agreement with large Queensland Government sites.
CS Energy is also supporting UQ’s energy ambitions through providing retail administration and hedging services.
The 64 megawatt Warwick Solar Farm utilises low impact solar photovoltaic technology to generate approximately 160,000 MWh of clean energy every year.
