The Opportunity

 The Production Coordinator will coordinate production operational activities and ensure effective interaction and communication flow between operations, maintenance, planning/scheduling, trading, engineering and other Callide teams, to optimise the performance of Station shift operations in meeting business requirements and KPI’s. This role is also responsible for leading, managing, developing and supporting an operations day team as required (including the Trainee Shift Operator Technicians).


Our preferred candidate will possess the following skills and experience: 

  • Trade qualifications in a relevant mechanical or electrical discipline are desirable
  • A minimum 10 years operational experience in power station operations or within heavy industry
  • Previous operations coordination experience would be advantageous
  • Demonstrated experience in influencing a broad range of stakeholders
  • Ability to prioritise and work effectively during times of unplanned events or changing priorities
  • SAP knowledge desirable
