The Callide Oxyfuel Project is a collaboration between:
CS Energy - a Queensland Government Owned Corporation with a portfolio of more than 3,000 MW.
IHI Corporation - a Japanese technology manufacturer.
J-POWER - a Japanese electricity generator.
Mitsui & Co - a Japanese entity with global interest in, among other things,
metal products and minerals, machinery and energy.
Schlumberger - an international supplier of technology to the oil and gas industries, with expertise in geosequestration.
Xstrata Coal - an exporter of thermal coal and producer of hard coking coal based in Australia, with operations here and internationally.
Funding for the Callide Oxyfuel Project is being provided by the project partners, as well as the Australian Government's Low Emissions Technology Demonstration Fund, the Australian Coal Association's COAL 21 Fund and the Queensland Government. JCoal is providing financial and management support to the project.
