Since 2001, CS Energy and Queensland Gas Company (QGC) have been working together to identify and develop commercially viable coal seam methane gas reserves in the Surat Basin.
CS Energy has entered into a long term gas sales agreement with QGC for the supply of four petajoules per annum of coal seam methane from its Berwyndale South gas project to fuel the Swanbank E Power Station.
