Grants programs

CS Energy runs annual grant programs at Kogan Creek and Swanbank power stations to support projects that improve community facilities or benefit the local environment.

Callide Grants Program

CS Energy has just launched a grants program for the community surrounding its Callide Power Station near Biloela.  Local community and school groups can apply for grants of up to $3,000 to improve community facilities and services, school amenities and programs, or the natural environment.

Applications are open until 22 October 2010.  For information on how to apply, please visit the Application Guidelines page in this section.

Swanbank Grants Program

At Swanbank Power Station we are committed to supporting local Ipswich community groups through a grants program.  In the past, we've helped school groups upgrade equipment, aged care facilities with landscaping projects and supported youth education facilities.

Successful applications for round one of the 2010 Swanbank Community Grants Program were announced on 9 July.   To view a media release on the successful applications, click here. A second round of grants will be available in late 2010.

Chinchilla Community Benefits Trust

At Kogan Creek, we established the Chinchilla Community Benefits Trust to provide community support during the construction of the power station and beyond.

So far, we’ve invested more than $800,000 through the trust to social infrastructure and community service projects in the region.
