The energy industry in Australia is in a period of significant change. CS Energy aims to be at the forefront of these changes to ensure we continue to be a reliable and responsible provider of electricity well into the future.

To achieve this, we’re working to improve our plant efficiency, develop diverse fuel sources and commercialise low emission energy solutions.

Our long-term vision is to have a portfolio that:

By 2020

• Has installed generation capacity in excess of 4,000 megawatts (MW);
• Has 500 MW of renewable generation in the portfolio;
• Is carbon neutral in its internal energy consumption; and

By 2030

• Achieves a generation portfolio greenhouse emission intensity of less than 400 kilograms of carbon dioxide for each megawatt hour sent out.
