Major projects

We're always looking to improve the way we produce energy.

CS Energy invests considerable resources into the maintenance of our power stations every year.

This ongoing maintenance investment provides a safe working environment for our employees and ensures our plant remains reliable and operates at maximum efficiency.

We’re also working on new low emissions projects to improve the efficiency of our portfolio.

Kogan Creek Power Station

The $1.2 billion Kogan Creek Power Station and Kogan Mine were completed in late 2007. The 750 megawatt baseload power station took just over three years to construct and at its peak was the largest construction project in Queensland.

Regular maintenance keeps our power stations operating safely, reliably and efficiently. CS Energy strives to continuously improve its overhaul management.
