Power stations have the potential to be dangerous places, so we have strict safety procedures for minimising risks and ensuring a uniform approach at all sites.

But procedures and rules aren’t enough. The key ingredient in achieving zero harm is human behaviour – making sure our people put these procedures into practice every day.

To achieve this, we combine face-to-face safety briefings and inspections with our corporate awareness campaign Stay on top of your game. This campaign breaks safety down into the basics – working as a team, taking responsibility and not letting your mates down.
