Our procurement policy has helped support the growth and development of local businesses and industry in Australia since we began operations in 1998.
Here’s how it works:
At the initial procurement stage, the principles of open and effective competition are applied, and fair and equal treatment is given to local submissions.
When considering an offer, we give preference to locally sourced goods and services on the basis that price, performance, quality and suitability compare favourably.
We also offer a debriefing session for local businesses that are not successful in their tenders, providing reasons why they were not competitive and suggesting how they may improve their competitive position.
Our procurement policy was developed in 1998 and supports the Queensland Government’s local Content Policy.
The CS Energy Supply and Contracts team manages all procurement and logistics activities for the company and its joint venture partners.
