Board and committees

Our Board

Our Board and senior managers work together to ensure CS Energy upholds the highest standards of corporate governance.

Eight independent, non-executive directors make up the Board and they are appointed by the Queensland Governor in Council. The Board is accountable to CS Energy’s two Queensland Government shareholding Ministers for its corporate governance performance.

The Board is also responsible for setting the Company’s strategic direction, evaluating and approving investment proposals, monitoring corporate performance, managing risk and upholding the company’s Code of Conduct.

Board committees

Four specialist committees help manage particular areas of CS Energy’s business and provide a forum for the Board to discuss key business issues with senior management:

  • Risk Committee
  • Audit Committee
  • People and Safety Committee
  • Major Capital and Technical Committee
