Swanbank

Swanbank Power Station, located nine kilometres from the heart of Ipswich, Southeast Queensland, is one of CS Energy’s most versatile sites, comprising both coal-fired and gas-fired units.

Together these units are capable of supplying almost 900 megawatts (MW) of electricity to Australia’s national grid - enough to power about 1 million homes.

Swanbank E Power Station

Swanbank E power station was commissioned in 2002 and is one of the most efficient and advanced gas-fired power stations in Australia.

Swanbank B Power Station

Swanbank B coal-fired power station has a long history of electricity generation since it was first commissioned in 1971.
